Denise Marie Flaherty Memorial Foundation Can Answers Most Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?

A: Yes. DMF foundation is a 501c3 and your donation is fully tax deductible.  Even a portion of your registration fee is deductible, you can email [email protected] if you need a receipt for a portion that is deductible for example.  A golf registration fee might be $200, the “cost” to the golf course and the portion returned to you in goods and services may be $175 (your golf, and food, and drinks etc.), making $25 your net donation.  However, if you make a straight donation say $200, that is 100% deductible.
