Bob Allen joins the board after a career in the healthcare industry, including roles at a national clinical laboratory and at the largest healthcare information technology company in the US. His experience includes sales and sales management, Six Sigma process improvement and business unit leadership. He retired in 2021 after 41 years.

He has enjoyed coaching his children in football, baseball and soccer, and now gets to restart coaching with his four grandchildren. He has also started and served on the board of directors of successful football and lacrosse programs associated with the high school in his hometown of Johns Creek, Georgia.

Bob’s duties at DMF will include reaching out to corporate contacts to expand sponsorship opportunities for existing events and researching the potential development of new programs in the Georgia area.
