Susan is excited to join the board from Illinois, bringing heart, resilience, and firsthand perspective to the DMF Foundation. A single mom, Susan works full time while raising a teenager at home and supporting her married daughter and cherished grandchildren. When she is not working or advocating for the foundation, she enjoys spending time at the stables watching her daughter ride, relaxing on the patio with a good book, or getting a little competitive by beating her daughter at Beat Saber on the Oculus.

Susan was introduced to the DMF Foundation through her sister, whose husband participates in the foundation’s annual golf outing. After receiving a cancer diagnosis, Susan experienced overwhelming support from the foundation during a critical time in her life. That support inspired her to become a passionate promoter of the foundation and its mission, a role she embraces with authenticity and energy.

As a cancer fighter who is actively winning her battle, Susan stands alongside the very individuals the foundation serves, allowing her to contribute a grounded and empathetic viewpoint. She is committed to increasing awareness, expanding sustainable donations, and strengthening the foundation’s media presence through her TikTok platform and personal outreach. Susan is honored to serve on the Board, eager to learn from seasoned members, and deeply motivated to help the foundation grow and reach more families in need.
